About Me

I was born in Turkey. My father was in the military at the time, and my family got stationed in several different countries.  When I was five, we moved to Ethridge, TN, where I lived until I went to college at Belmont University in Nashville.  I worked in Nashville doing freelance management and design for two years, worked in Syracuse, NY, as a teaching fellow, and was Technical Director for the Sterling Renaissance Festival for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. I am currently living and working in Chicago. My primary passion is directing theatre, although I also love to design and work as a technician.

Everyone has a story to tell.  I believe that everyone also has a story to hear.  I have a desire to work in theatre because I love telling stories and know the benefits of hearing the right story at the right time. My passion in every play is found within the relationships. Finding those identifiable moments of humanity and ways to bridge the gap between performer and audience is always the most delightful challenge.
